Our reception is open during the same opening hours as the Hedwig restaurant. Thanks to our online check-in, however, you can arrive at any time - around the clock - and check into your room regardless of restaurant opening hours.
If you arrive outside of our opening hours, we ask you to complete the online check-in in advance. Your digital room key will be activated automatically from 3 pm on the day of arrival.

The Natur- und Bikehotel Balga is located in Balgach, in the St. Gallen Rhine Valley. You can easily reach our hotel by car, bike or public transport.
We offer free parking for hotel guests arriving by car. Outdoor parking spaces are available directly behind our hotel. You will find numerous other parking options in our hotel's own parking garage.
From St. Gallen: Freeway exit Au/Lustenau or Widnau, direction Altstätten to Balgach.
From Buchs: Motorway exit Widnau, direction Altstätten to Balgach.
Take the train to Heerbrugg, then take a regional bus in the direction of Altstätten to the Balgach Dorf stop. From there you can reach us on foot in just a few steps.
